Empowerment to Sexual Assault Victims’ Fundraiser

Whistler’s Knoll, N2845 Hwy 15, Hortonville

This is a fundraiser for the “10th Annual Shall We Dance” – Sexual Assault Crisis Center Fox Cities

Tickets are $100 per person and includes:

  • Presentation by the Sexual Assault Crisis Center
  • Meal Catered by Carmella’s
  • Drinks and Live Music

  • Sexual assault is a social problem crossing all racial and ethnic groups, socioeconomic classes, religions, genders, sexual orientation and ages
  • 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused before the age of 18
  • 95% of victims of sex trafficking have been sexually abused at some point in their lives
  • Sexual assault is an act of violence; it is about power and control, not sex
  • 93% of offenders are known to the victim
  • Nearly 70% of all reported sexual assaults occur to children ages 17 and under
  • Every 2 minutes, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted
