The Loft (where the farmer used to store hay for his cattle) has rustic beams and original ladders that add to the ambiance. Total capacity inside our intimate and quaint barn is 50. (The Grapevine Pavilion has seating for 200 with an option to rent a “wedding tent” that adds additional event space for more 100 people to total 300 of your guests.)
We are a “legal” Event Barn
Our barn has passed inspection by the Industry Services Division of the State of Wisconsin, Department of Safety and Professional Services. What that means, is we have followed the proper procedures to assure the safety of our guests.
Our Grapevine Pavilion overlooks Whistler’s Vineyard offering a natural and picturesque setting. The seating capacity is 200. (Tent rental available to add additional seating for 100 more guests.) Tables and chairs are included in your rental.
Ceremony on Site
If your dream wedding is to recite your vows in a vineyard, we have that perfect location for you. There is an additional charge of $2 per chair to cover the rental and set up of white chairs in the vineyard. Don’t forget to ask your DJ to arrive early enough to help with your ceremony, and with announcements during your dinner. We recommend a 3:00 pm ceremony time so you have plenty of time for photos before your reception begins. We have an air conditioned bridal suite for you and your bridesmaids to change in and get ready for your ceremony! A complimentary bottle of wine or Champagne is included.
Throughout our vineyard and property there are numerous and amazing backdrops available for you on your special Wedding Day! And we encourage you to schedule a time for your engagement photo shoot and this is NOT an additional charge. Photo shoots are a privilege available only for our clients and nobody else!!

We are open from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm. We suggest you hold your ceremony at 3:00 pm to allow plenty of time for photos before your reception, dinner, and dance.

The Grapevine Pavilion is equipped with a “caterers prep room” available for our licensed caterers. It has lots of counter space, a hand wash sink, hot water, a large sink, and a commercial refrigerator.
You may choose a hosted bar, cash bar, OR a combination of both. “Carry in” beverages of all types (including water & soda) are not allowed. We hold a “Class B Liquor License” and can provide all of your beverage needs. (wines, beer, mixed drinks, and soft drinks.) Beverages are not included in the cost of renting our venue. There is no additional charge for our licensed bartenders. We collect a beverage deposit (separate from your venue rental) one month before your wedding. At the end of your event, we either refund you if you have overpaid, OR collect the balance due. (please note: No minors are allowed in the barn without a parent or legal guardian.)
Guests from “Out of Town?”
There are numerous accommodations only 15 minutes from our property near the Fox River Mall in Appleton. And we can recommend a very reasonably priced shuttle service if your guests need transportation to our vineyard in time for your ceremony, and then a ride back to the hotel at the end of your event:
Children are welcome at your Whistler’s Knoll Wedding, however they must be supervised at all times. Please do not allow them in our landscaped areas or flower gardens. Anyone entering our barn that is under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian because of our liquor license.
The Loft has heat and air conditioning.
Our Grapevine Pavilion has custom canvas curtains with vinyl windows. In case of inclement weather the curtains can be rolled down. There are gas lamp heaters that can warm up the pavilion during cool evenings. Restrooms are heated during cool weather. 🙂
We have ADA Compliant Restrooms in BOTH The Loft, and the Grapevine Pavilion.
We have plenty of parking space for 200 vehicles including four handicap stalls. Please do not park in handicap spaces if you do no have a permit. We encourage guests to leave cars overnight. Pick them up ANYTIME!! We love to see cars in our parking lot when we arrive the next morning! Ask us about convenient shuttle services. You can hire them for a reasonable cost to transport your guests from local hotels!
Please schedule a time during the day of your event to decorate. (Or rent the night before and hold your rehearsal, complete your decorating, and have your rehearsal dinner at Whistler’s Knoll!) All decorations and personal items should be removed at the end of your wedding day.
Candles are not allowed inside the barn, but are okay in the Grapevine Pavilion. Please don’t use confetti, glitter, rice, birdseed, or any other difficult to remove items. No synthetic flower petals because our chickens eat them and get sick. Yes, you sure can use real rose petals! In the Grapevine Pavilion, we recently doubled the amount of festoon lighting. Because of that, decorating is NOT allowed on the ceiling because it causes damage.
Our staff will take care of general clean up at the end of your event which includes sweeping of floors and garbage removal.
Audio Visual System
In the Loft, we offer WiFi, projector, screen, and high quality speakers which are available at no additional charge. Our SONOS smart system offers a superb experience for you and your guests both inside the Loft and in Holly’s Wine Garden.
The Grapevine Pavilion also has WiFi, high quality speakers, and a SONOS smart system. Yes, you can also bring your own “play list.”

Pricing for 2018
Our entire venue includes The Loft (barn), Grapevine Pavilion, Holly’s Wine Garden (patio), and Air Conditioned Bridal Suite. $4500 plus tax during the months of May through October. We do NOT book another event during your day.
Off peak season (November, December, January, & April) rent The Loft (heated barn) $1500 plus tax. Reminder that capacity inside our intimate & quaint barn is 50 people. (Grapevine Pavilion is winterized and not available during off peak season.)
Included in Your Rental:
Access to our property for your engagement photo shoot, (you schedule with your photographer,) banquet tables & chairs in pavilion, event staff, licensed bartenders, projector & screen in barn, antique, rustic cake table, WiFi, SONOS Stereo, yard games, general clean up, and parking.
Not Included in Your Rental:
Food & beverages, linens & centerpieces, chairs for the ceremony. (see below)
There is an additional charge of $2 per chair to cover the cost of rental and set up of white chairs for a ceremony in the vineyard, or anywhere outside of the Grapevine Pavilion. Our Grapevine Pavilion holds 200 total people. IF you have over 200 guests, there is a and extra charge for tent and additional toilets and hand wash stations.

If you book a Saturday wedding with us, consider the following “value add” option available IF there is no booking the day before:
Friday Rehearsal Dinner
- 4 hours on the Friday before your wedding day
- Cater with one of our food caterers, or order local pizza and we will pick it up for you!
- Cash bar available (no carry ins)
- Hold your rehearsal and decorate while here
- $500 plus tax

Calendar & Tours
