Monthly Wood Fired Pizza Nights
Our last pizza night of the season was held on Oct 4th. The 2020 schedule will be posted soon so check back to see our calendar for the 2019 schedule and in the case of bad weather, please watch our Facebook page for any cancellations or reschedules that may occur
This is by far our most popular of all public events! Monthly Wood Fired Pizza Nights with Broken Tree Pizza. New specials each month. You order your very own personal pie (not served buffet style.) 10″ pizzas are $14 each. Wine, beer, & mixers also available for purchase. Reservations accepted for groups of 13 or more.
Please understand that pizzas are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If you arrive and are told that Broken Tree Pizza is sold out, that does NOT mean they have quit cooking pizzas. It means that they will be cooking pizzas late into the evening to fill the orders that were sold before you arrived.
ALWAYS check our Facebook page for any last minute updates due to bad weather. The only time Broken Tree Pizza Co needs to cancel is when we have torrential downpours or monsoon type rains that saturate their mobile brick oven. A reminder there are lots of seating areas inside The Loft (our barn) and in our Grapevine Pavilion which overlooks Whistler’s Vineyard.
Frequently Asked Questions:
How do the chickens stay warm in the winter?
They are spoiled!
They have a chicken condo which is insulated, has heated water, and a southern facing picture window!
When the temps drop to subzero, Whistler turns a heater on (which is mounted from the ceiling so they can’t tip it over and start a fire.) We only heat to a few degrees above freezing because if it is too warm in their condo, the condensation can cause respiratory illness. Whistler also cleans their home every few days so they stay clean and dry. And yes, they still get to come outside when the sun is out and it is a nice day. They like to roll in the sand and sun themselves too. Such lucky girls they are! More FAQs here.
