Please understand that pizzas are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If you arrive and are told that Broken Tree Pizza is sold out, that does NOT mean they have quit cooking pizzas. Frequently Asked Questions:
How do the chickens stay warm in the winter?
They are spoiled!
They have a chicken condo which is insulated, has heated water, and a southern facing picture window!
When the temps drop to subzero, Whistler turns a heater on (which is mounted from the ceiling so they can’t tip it over and start a fire.) We only heat to a few degrees above freezing because if it is too warm in their condo, the condensation can cause respiratory illness. Whistler also cleans their home every few days so they stay clean and dry. And yes, they still get to come outside when the sun is out and it is a nice day. They like to roll in the sand and sun themselves too. Such lucky girls they are! More FAQs here.
